Free Readings Are Rarely “FREE”: There is almost always an up sell, a “catch” or some sort of shoe that WILL drop Free Readings are Rarely Good! And many of you have already experienced this first hand! The truth is, if you are serious about getting a psychic reading, you need to treat it the very same way as you’d treat hiring a professional in any other field. Would you pride yourself on finding a free mechanic, and expect them to fix your car properly? It’s really the very same thing here! Unless you are friendly with, or have a charity or criminal issue where a local celebrity psychic will help you at no cost, you will rarely (if ever) find an online “free” psychic that is even worth the time you took to call. The potential for FRAUD is far higher as well! This means that the people who find themselves ripped off, deceived or even ROBBED outright are much higher with these style offers. Many fake psychics “troll” on forums and bulletin boards and seek out the vulnerable and gullible with “free” offers and public persona’s that are TRULY “wolves in sheep’s clothing”. Don’t’ fall for this….and save yourself the time, energy and embarrassment that often accompanies getting ripped off! Most importantly? People who get “free” readings tend to be disappointed, and often DISCOUNT psychic phenomena altogether, thereafter! Face to face or in person and telephone psychic readings, as stated, run the hazard of the reader change into visual and verbal clues obtainable by the client. These types of readings are frequently referred to as Cold Readings, or training and catch fish for information used by many defraud artists and people posturing as genuine psychics. It is a common faith that the majority of today’s assumed psychics practice is in various forms of cold reading techniques. Genuine psychics do survive but they are few and faraway between places. Maybe less than five percent of all practicing psychics today show actual instinctive abilities; the remaining will rely on showman strategies rather than psychic skills to perform their readings. The truth is that many suspected psychics do little more than tell clients accurately what they want to hear.

Not entire psychics who conduct in person or telephone psychic readings are untruthful. Though, the advice is anyone who interested in receiving a psychic reading to search for out readers with a confirmed track record in providing distant readings. Psychics with knowledge and skill in areas of remote viewing, distant healing and other additional sensory skills which do not necessitate a client’s input and feedback may also be measured preferable to those without such knowledge and skills. The main caution is those who interested in psychic readings to shun psychics, rely a lot on gimmicks and charisma alone to attract customers.

Let me share a little bit of my OWN experience with you, as well as a few of the more unusual readings I’ve had personally, in the hope that it shines a bright light on some of the BEST ways to get an amazing psychic experience, without having to spend a fortune to make it happen!

Tip #1 – Little Out of the Way Resort Towns

Okay… this may be coincidence, but in my two decades of experience with reading, writing and researching psychic phenomena, several of my BEST experiences have come in little out of the way towns that most people NEVER think of when it comes to seeing a psychic. (yet… they are usually RIPE with readers!) Key West, Florida… for example, was my first such experience, and millions of people go through there annually, yet only a fraction even stop in and see one of their world class (albeit eccentric) psychics. New Hope, Pennsylvania… the very same thing!

The key is, find little creative, artistic towns by you, and look in the yellow pages… you’ll almost always find psychics advertised, and ask around before you pick one. (you’ll find if you visit these places and ask… the locals will fill you in on the BEST ones to see for sure) I’ve done this in about 15 different “off the beaten path” style places, and it almost NEVER fails to offer great readings with interesting intuitiveness, and often for FAR less than you’d spend with a celebrity style reader who charges a ton!

Tip #2 – Online Meet ups

This is a GREAT way to get a great reading, and sometimes for free! All you really need to do is find a local “psychic” or paranormal meet up using the popular (and free) meet up finder online, and you can truly find some authentic and really gifted local psychics who are JUST starting out, and often will be more than happy to give you a “test” reading for free if you join the group.

As someone who writes about, and does a lot of psychic research, I’ve joined a bunch of these over the years and made friends with some amazingly talented psychics, who are generous, compassionate and OFTEN….are more than happy to “practice” on you for free! Remember though, the key is to join to participate, and make friends… and NOT take advantage of the generosity of others.

But you’ll find, if you’re intentions are good, and you get involved, the psychic benefits are well worth it to boot.

Of course you can ALWAYS call a reputable network, or individual intuitive on the phone, as well…

And get a great reading for 20 or 30 dollars, without leaving your home! (and I certainly do plenty of that as well). But the above 2 tips may be a bit unusual, but are a fun way to add some fun (and variety) into the mix, and a price that’s often surprisingly good as well!
